Our goal at Texas Engineered Roofing is to complete our roofing projects on time and within budget while ensuring minimal impact on our clients’ daily operations.

Maintenance Plans

We offer customized preventative maintenance plans that minimize the risk of major repairs while maximizing the life expectancy of our clients’ investment.  They include an annual site inspection and photo documentation.  Upon inspection we provide: detailed report including information on existing roof system, deficiencies found during inspection, immediate repairs needed, and life expectancy.

Types of Roofs

Asphalt shingles are today’s most popular roofing material, both commercial and residential.  Benefits of this system include: Class-A fire rating, economical production, excellent cost-to-value weather protection, extended warranty coverage, relative ease of installation, and wide array of options including style and color.

Metal roofs are among the most durable systems in commercial roofing.  We offer a wide range of profiles, colors, and gauges pre-fabricated or rolled on-site.  This provides owners with the ability to design their building to meet both aesthetic and financial expectations.

Single-Ply Roofing Systems

  • Lightweight, making it ideal for new construction
  • Retrofit systems without adding excessive weight to the roof deck
  • Flexible in hot and cold temperature so they will not split or crack
  • Three main types to consider

TPO (ThermoPlastic Olefin) roofs are among the fastest growing commercial roofing systems.  Made of an especially durable material with low-temperature flexibility and a high-temperature tolerance, TPO traditionally has a white ‘reflective surface’ which reduces heat build-up and cooling costs.  They provide excellent resistance to airborne bacteria, fire, industrial pollutants, and ultraviolet.  TPO systems can be expected to have a lifespan of 20+ years and withstand rooftop traffic, tools, and equipment.

PVC (PolyVinyl Chloride) roofs are specially designed with reinforced polyester knit fabric to resist tearing for superior durability with excellent abrasion and puncture resistance.  They provide excellent resistance airborne bacteria, fire, industrial pollutants, and ultraviolet.  PVC systems are especially suited for roofs exposed to grease, oil, and fuel.

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer) roofs offer superior durability and versatility, making it one of the longest lasting types of commercial roofs available.  They require minimal maintenance and resistant to ozone and ultraviolet.  EPDM systems use acrylic water base bonding adhesive for fast installation and ideal for irregular building configurations as well as steep slopes.

Others: Modified Bitumen roofs use redundant layers of granulated roofing asphalt to create a durable weather-resistant surface.  Built-up roofing is a viable choice depending on the slope and complexities.
